October 14-16 Thurs.-Sat.

Middle Atlantic Council 56th Annual Convention and Trade Show, Galloway, N.J.

Mark your calendar for October 14th-16th for the 56th Annual Middle Atlantic Council (MAC) Convention and Trade Show. It will be held at the Seaview, a Dolce Resort in Galloway, N.J., located on 670 wooded acres of pinelands on the Jersey Shore’s pristine Reed’s Bay – only eight miles from Atlantic City and just 45 minutes from Philadelphia.

Some of the amenities include: 278 guest rooms; 19 suites; room service; two on-site restaurants; fitness center; volleyball and tennis courts; indoor and outdoor pools; two championship golf courses managed by Troon Golf; and a family recreation room with arcade games, pool tables and air hockey.

The convention education committee is hard at work planning seminars on a variety of topics guaranteed to appeal to painting contractors from all disciplines: commercial, residential, industrial and decorative arts.

A golf tournament is planned, along with tours to local destinations and a trip to Atlantic City. The largest regional trade show will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14th, and it will be open to the public.

To top off the weekend, there will be a talent show at the Saturday closing banquet. It’s not too early to start thinking about what you plan to do at the talent show. We know there is a lot of hidden talent out there in our council – here’s your opportunity to shine! If you sing, play an instrument, dance, act, juggle, do magic tricks, or have any other talent you’d like to share, call the MAC office at (877) 622-7322 to get your name in the show lineup. You can even get a group of your friends together and make it a joint effort.

The possibilities are endless!
